The Atomic Bomb was the deadliest weapons in the history of war. Throughout World War II one of the most stubborn countries to surrender was Japan who relentlessly fought against the United States of America. After failing to defeat America, Japan was overwhelmed by allied forces. Staying with tradition however, Japan would rather die in battle than to surrender. The Soviet Union also fought against America but that was towards the end of the war. The United States dropped both of the Atomic Bombs in order to intimidate the Soviet Union and to make Japan to surrender unconditionally. At the end of World War II America dropped the Atomic Bomb in order to intimidate the Soviet Union. â€Å"Mr. Byrnes’s †¦ view [was] that our possessing and†¦show more content†¦To be captured was a disgrace and extremely frowned upon in Japan. America gave Japan fair warning about an explosive device and if they did not declare a surrender, America would use it against them.
